Chocolate Rye 300 MD malt is produced by roasting Rye Malt at high temperatures in the roasting drum. This malt gives the same malty and spicy taste to your beer as the regular Rye Malt, with extra notes of chocolate, cocoa beans and coffee beans. This roasted malt can be used up to 5% of the malt deposit in all rye beers to add an extra complexity. Perfect for using in Stouts, Quads and Dark Ales to give a chocolate kick with the spiciness of Rye malt.
