One package contains 150 g of alpha acids. The net syrup content and its percentage of alpha acids may vary from batch to batch: see analysis of the single batch which will report the net syrup content and percentage of alpha acids. Using these two data, this CO2 hop extract can be treated like hop pellets. In order to calculate the bitterness efficiency, using for example a software, simply enter the quantity used and the percentage of alpha acids (which is usually around 55%, see analysis). If used at the beginning of boiling, the dosage of CO2 hop extract in CO2 can vary from 32 to 38%, while for pellets it is usually around 25-30%.
