I brew 5 gal. batches. I have a 25g pkg. of SpringFerm BR-2. The mixing instructions are vague. I want to use it as a yeast starter using a Dextrose/water (1:4), boiled, cooled, and added to a sachet of dry yeast. How much and when is SpringFerm added to the dextrose solution. Do I need to boil it also?

Good morning,
i do not recommend to use dextrose as carbon source for a starter, it is a way better use malt extract for this purpose.
You can add the nutrient SpringFerm to the solution just before adding the yeast, letting him the time to rehydrate. Once the SpringFerm rehydratation is completed you can add the yeast and let the starter go.
You should not boil the SpringFerm.

Buonasera, volevo usare il prodotto per aiutare la fermentazione del mio idromele, ho usato un Mangroove Jack M05 per idromele.
Questo Nutrimento va bene per il lievito che ho usato?
